 Posted Date: 5/22/2006 Closing/Review Date: Continuous recruitment Recruitment #: 06-C00976-01 Position Title: School Patrol Officer Department: Police Division: Special Operations Salary Range: $29.27 per day/2 hours per day License: N/A Screening: Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be considered. (03-0023 NK/LW) Examples of Duties: Monitors school zones where children cross streets. Monitors and assists both pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the mornings and late afternoon. Minimum Qualifications: Must have an equivalent to a high school diploma and have good vision and hearing. Must be able to stand and move in appropriate places to direct children and drivers using designated signals. Prior experience preferred, but training will be provided to those who are selected. Must have own transportation to job site, be in good health, and be willing to work in all types of weather.
