Recruitment #: #07-C01504-01 Position Title: Crew Supervisor Senior Department: Public Works Division: City-Wide Services/Stormwater Salary Range: $28,424 to $43,760 Annually. Appointments are usually made at the starting salary unless otherwise authorized. License: Valid Class D Driver's License Screening: A rating of training and experience will be applied to all applications. 07-0015 JS Examples of Duties: Supervises and directs assigned crew in various construction and maintenance activities; organizes, prioritizes and assigns work. Ensures adherence to established safety procedures; monitors work environments to ensure safety of employees and other individuals. Coordinates work activities with other departments, contractors and outside agencies. Oversees operation and maintenance of department equipment; provides training and instruction on use and repair of equipment; monitors inventory of equipment, supplies and parts. Completes required reports and forms as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED supplemented by post secondary training in construction/maintenance work. Minimum of three (3) years previous experience that includes crew supervision, project management and maintenance/ road construction OR any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform this job. Must have a valid Class D driver’s license to drive City vehicles.
