Chattanooga Green Interim Climate Action Plan Released

Progress is good.  Sustainable progress that balances the needs of the environment, business and society is even better.  However, this type of progress and development does not just happen, rather it is born from the collaborative effort of many dedicated individuals. With the help of the public, the Chattanooga Green Committee has worked diligently towards a plan for a greener city.  This July, the Committee released an interim report to Mayor Ron Littlefield.  This report outlines the beginning of objectives and potential actions that will help Chattanooga in its transition to a more sustainable and environmentally conscience city. Please keep in mind that this report is just a beginning and much work and research still needs to be completed.  If you would like to be involved in the next stages of Chattanooga Green, or to sign up for our email list, please visit the Get Involved page.
