 Surplus Sales
 The City of Chattanooga utilizes various means for disposing of the City’s Surplus Property. For the selling of City vehicles and some Heavy Equipment, the City uses Chattanooga Auto Auction. This auction is open to the public and is Sold on the third Tuesday of the month at 12:00 Noon. Other surplus items such as Office Products, Office Furniture and some Tools are posted and sold on websites hosted by Nu Markets and GovDeal. The City also conducts two (2) Public Auctions per year located at various city owned properties. These Public Auctions are posted in the local paper or you may contact the Purchasing Division at (423) 757-5184 for the exact date and location.
