: Home Fire Safety Survey

The Chattanooga Fire Department offers free Home Fire Safety Surveys to all residents of Chattanooga.  These surveys are conducted jointly by our Assistant Fire Marshals and firefighters from the closest fire station to the home.  Our fire personnel conduct the survey with the homeowner, walking through the residence to find any hazards that should be eliminated.  This is not an inspection; it is a survey intended to aid the homeowner in reducing the risk of fire in the home.  These Home Fire Safety Surveys are conducted on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  To schedule a survey for your home, you can call the Fire Prevention Bureau at (423) 643-5604, or make the request by e-mail at fpb@mail.chattanooga.gov.
