The Fire Prevention Bureau conducts a very popular fire safety presentation throughout the year at schools, day care centers and other locations across the city.  This presentation features "Sparky" the remote-controlled fire engine, but there is much more to this entertaining and informative production.  An Assistant Fire Marshal leads the session, which includes hands-on demonstrations of how to escape safely from a burning home, stop, drop and roll, when to call 911, the value of smoke detectors and much more.  This exciting presentation is offered free anywhere within the city limits of Chattanooga, but due to its popularity, it must be scheduled in advance.  To arrange a visit from Sparky, you can call the Fire Prevention Bureau at (423) 643-5604, or click fpb@mail.chattanooga.gov to make your request by e-mail.
