: Workplace Fire Safety

Assistant Fire Marshals will be glad to make a fire safety presentation at any business in Chattanooga free of charge.  They can educate your workforce on fire safety in the workplace, and can even teach your personnel how to properly use fire extinguishers.  For mass care facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes, our Assistant Fire Marshals can provide information on how to protect residents in the event of a fire, and how to properly evacuate the building if necessary.  To schedule a class, you can call the Fire Prevention Bureau at (423) 643-5604, or you can make your request by e-mail at fpb@mailchattanooga.gov.
