Chattanooga, TN - The Chattanooga SE/TN Film Commission has launched its new website effective today, May 1, 2008.

This website offers information regarding filming in Chattanooga, and the surrounding area, to producers and filmmakers.  Included are city policies and procedures concerning public and private filming, frequently asked questions, and contact information if someone has additional questions or requirements.  The website will be used as a vehicle to gather information from local filmmakers and others who are associated with film production.  This information will be used to create a Chattanooga Film Production Directory, which will be posted on the website.

Education, Arts & Culture Administrator Missy Crutchfield states, “Mayor Littlefield created this commission in 2006 understanding that film production is an incredibly powerful economic development tool.  I am proud of our film commission, which is composed entirely of dedicated volunteers.  This website allows the world to see what Chattanooga and Southeast Tennessee has to offer.”
