TN Wildlife Agency to Offer Boater Safety Classes at John A. Patten Rec. Center

Boater Education Classes & Certification Tests

Boater Edcuation and Safety Classes will be held on Monday and Tuesday May 11th and 12th 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the John A. Patten Recreation Center, 3202 Kelley’s Ferry Road, hosted by the Tennessee Wildlife Agency.

Anyone born after January 1st 1989 is required to have a Type 600 Boat Education Class Permit to operate a motor boat on Tennessee lakes and rivers. A test is administered in order to receive this permit.
