Chattanooga, Tennessee –The City of Chattanooga Department of Public Works announced today schedule changes in garbage service for the Good Friday Holiday.

These changes will assure garbage collection service for each household during the week of the Good Friday Holiday.

Garbage normally scheduled to be collected on Friday March 21, 2008 will instead be collected on Wednesday March 19, 2008.

The City Landfill at Birchwood, the Wood Recycling Center at North Hawthorne Street, and three Recycling Convenience Centers will be closed on Good Friday.

The Refuse Collection Centers will maintain normal operating hours on Good Friday.
