Day trips for Rapid Learning whitewater kayaking for youths:
1. August 19th Saturday all day "Back to School Paddle"beginner/intermediate
2. August 20th Saturday all day beginner
3. September 2nd Saturday Whitewater Overnight beginner/intermediate
4. September 23rd Saturday all day Ocoee River Paddle intermediate
5. November 4th Saturday all day beginner paddle
6. November 18th all day intermediate paddle
All trips are tailored to beginner and intermediate level paddlers, these trips focus on the fundamentals of river running: ferries, eddy turns, peel-outs, river reading and river rolls. OutVenture will be educating the paddler on safety skills and stewardship. It will take a few trips to learn everything. We are here to build your confidence and to make you a highly efficient paddler.
Some of the rivers that we will be kayaking on are the Hiwassee, Nantahala, Tuckaseege, Pigeon and Ocoee.
All trips will met at Greenway Farms
Meet time 9am Return time 5pm
Cost will vary from $30-$40 depending how far we travel.
Shuttle and all kayaking equipment is provided.
