About

Both the historic Tivoli Theatre and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium are located in the vibrant heart of downtown Chattanooga. Hotels, restaurants, shopping and other major attractions are nearby.

Both have undergone major renovations; projects supported by the State of Tennessee, the City of Chattanooga, and a broad coalition of private citizens interested in preserving some of Chattanooga's most beautiful and entertaining history.

Both venues are owned and operated by the City of Chattanooga, and comprise the Civic Facilities Division of the Department of Education, Arts & Culture (EAC).

The Tivoli Theatre is the home of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera Association, and also welcomes a wide variety of touring productions each year. Its elegance and intimacy have made it a favorite of audiences and performers alike. Memorial Auditorium also hosts a wide variety of events, from national tours of Cats, Les Miserables, and Riverdance, to blockbuster concerts including Prince, Widespread Panic, Bob Dylan, Harry Connick Jr. and many more. Offering entertainment ranging from blues to bluegrass and classical to country; plus dance, opera and the best of Broadway, the Tivoli and Auditorium are at the center of Chattanooga's cultural life.
