To make your visit even more fun, make sure to stay and listen to our new "Keeper Chats". Every Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 and 4:00 learn what it's like to work with specific animals, directly from the keepers that work with them. It changes each week, so check with the front staff to see which animals are being featured! This is free with admission!

January 2008 – Year of the Frog!

With over 525 species of amphibians on the brink of extinction, zoos around the world are joining forces to raise awareness for the entire year of 2008 and the Chattanooga Zoo invites you to be part of the movement! There will be various events held throughout the year, so make sure to check back often!

Holiday Lights: Member's Nights - December 5, 6 (5:30-8:00pm)

Come see the Zoo decked out in holiday spirit! Visit Santa Claus and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa or cider while making crafts and playing some games! Friday night is pet night, so make sure to bring you furry, scaly, or feathered friend to visit with Santa! Members get in free the first weekend, so make sure to bring your membership card! Holiday Lights: Dreamnight - December 11 (5:30-8:00pm)

Dreamnight at the Zoo is one of our most popular events, so we've decided to extend it to be included in Holiday Lights! This is an open-house, holiday event for special needs children and their families. This event offers a VIP zoo visit that acknowledges and accommodates the unique circumstances that generally limit relaxing outgoings for these families during normal Zoo hours. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be available for pictures, and we'll have special treats for kids and families! Admission is free by reservation.
