Coolidge Park - 150 River Street - Zip Code:37405  Popular downtown park on Chattanooga's Northshore waterfront.  Coolidge Park features a beautifully restored antique carousel, an enclosed pavilion, an interactive play fountain, climbing wall, picnic areas, the Outdoor Chattanooga Center, and lots of open space.  It is part of the Tennessee Riverwalk System, a 10 mile long public park along the Tennessee River

The antique Carousel at Coolidge Park is $1.00 per ride and tickets can be purchased from the new electronic ticket machine.  The machine accepts cash, coins, as well as VISA, Master Card, and Discover.

The Walker Pavilion, Coolidge Park Carousel and Outdoor Chattanooga Center are popluar venues that can be rented for special events, birthday parties, and programs by calling the City's 311 Central Information System. (423) 425-6311.

DuPont Park4500 North Access Road - City Park featuring the North River Soccer Complex with four lighted soccer fields, concessions building, playground, restrooms, picnic pavilions, and drinking fountains.  This public park also features Chattanooga's first Disc Golf Course which is free and open to the public.    Zip Code: 37415

First Tennessee Pavilion - 1801 Carter Street- Covered outdoor space used for special events, the Chattanooga Market on Sunday afternoons from April - December, art exhibitions, community outreach days, and concerts. Lake Hills Park4395 Bellview Avenue - Once a neighborhood eyesore, this beautiful park opened to the Lake Hills Community in 2001.  It is a passive park located in the Highway 58 area.  Features include a 1/2 mile long walking trail, picnic tables, and park benches.  Zip Code: 37416

Tennessee Aquarium Plaza200 Broad Street - This park surrounds the Tennessee Aquarium and is like an outdoor museum. It consists of a series of paved and landscaped areas that go toward the river. A stream in the center of the two-acre plaza winds throughout the major areas that make up our regional history and symbolizes how the river was largely responsible for Chattanooga's development. All Facilities in the park are designed for interaction. A great place to discover! (Downtown Chattanooga)

Tennessee River Park System Along Chattanooga's Downtown Waterfront:

** Coolidge Park - A downtown park on Chattanooga's Northshore waterfront.  Coolidge Park features a beautifully restored antique carousel, pavilion, interactive play fountain, and lots of open space.  The Outdoor Chattanooga Center is located in Coolidge Park at 200 River Street. Sorry no pets.

** Renaissance Park– Located on the north shore of the river adjacent to Coolidge Park, this 23 acre urban wetlands park has natural trails, picnic area, hilly overlooks, and features that reflect the area's history and ecology.  Pets on-leash okay.

** Ross's Landing Park– Riverfront Park across from the TN Aquarium featuring a river pier, marina, natural amphitheatre and the Chattanooga Green.  (Now dog friendly area, provided owners follow the clean-up laws and City codes.)

** Tennessee Riverwalk– A continuous 10-mile path stretching from the downtown riverfront at Ross’s Landing to the Tennessee Riverpark and Chickamauga Dam. (Dogs on-leash and owners willing to clean-up are permitted at Ross' Landing between the Marine Max and the Bluff View Art District on the South side of the river)

** Walnut Street Bridge- Pedestrian bridge that connects the parks and attractions on both sides of the river.

Adjacent to the Walnut Street Bridge on the south side of the river are the First Street Steps. ( Pets are allowed on the First Street Steps). This area is a pedestrian walk-way that connects the Tennessee Aquarium and the Hunter Museum of American Art and is lined with local residences.
The walkway is one of the venues for the City's Public Art Program.

Tyner Park- 6900 Ty-Hi Drive- Park featuring ballfields and a recreation center which includes a full size gym, game room, restrooms, and community meeting room with kitchen.  Zip Code: 37421 

Warner Park 1254 East Third Street - The largest of Chattanooga's softball parks, this 53-acre facility offers seven ball fields, 12 tennis courts, a playground, a rose garden, six official horseshoe pits, picnic facilities, an Olympic size pool, and lots of grassy areas. It is also home to the Chattanooga Fitness Center and the Chattanooga Zoo.   Zip Code: 37404
