Swimming Lessons - Swimming lessons are offered at both indoor pools for parent/child; preschool; school age; and adults.  The schedules vary by pool so call the center you are interested in and inquire about the upcoming schedule. 

Aquatic Fitness - A great program using the resistance of the water to shape and tone your muscles.  Combined with a cardiovascular segment, which includes water walking/jogging and interval training, this is the best way to get in shape, stay in shape and improve your overall health with minimal stress on your joints.  No swimming skills necessary.                                

Arthritis -This supervised exercise program is an excellent way to increase your range of motion and joint flexibility without stress on the joints.  It is an ideal program for those individuals living with arthritis, recovering from an injury or stoke or those who need to strengthen muscles before surgery.  Warm water and flowing movements help relieve pain and stiffness.  Participants should consult their physician first before beginning any exercise program.  No swimming skills necessary.

Bev's Water Workout - Whether you want to get in shape or stay in shape you will enjoy this dynamic, challenging water workout.  Effective muscular strength and resistance exercises combined with a cardio respiratory workout "To Die For" will be the focus of this unique water experience.  Instructor: Beverly Muse.

Youth Competitive Stroke Class – An introduction to competitive swimming for ages 6-12.  Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool as a prerequisite for the program. 

Lifeguard Classes - The Chattanooga Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture Department will offer the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course during the spring of the every year.  Call the Recreation office for class schedules.
