Welcome

Welcome to Chattanooga’s hidden jewel, the Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park! This attraction is drawing more attention with locals and tourists alike. The Chattanooga Zoo sits on 6 acres in the middle of Warner Park, just 2-miles from downtown Chattanooga. It features animals and information from all over the world, including Latin America, North America, Africa, and Asia.

Come spend a couple of hours wandering through the Zoo and getting to know some of the wildest residents of Chattanooga. The Gombe Forest features 5 chimpanzees, including Hank, the best known animal in Chattanooga! Take a stroll through The Himalayan Passage, the newest exhibit, featuring red pandas, snow leopards, langurs and the highly endangered “Bali-Mynahs”. Head up to South America to see the spider monkeys swinging around, the jaguar lounging in the sun, and the macaws striking up a conversation with whomever passes by. Before you go, make sure to stop by the Warner Park Ranch Exhibit and feed the goats - and don't forget to pat Peanut Butter the "ranch dog" on the head too!

Construction begins for the Zoo front entrance off of Holtzclaw Avenue in November and will be completed in Spring of '08. Make sure to drive by Warner Park often to see the progress on the new front entrance!
