Williams Street Interceptor Sewer Repair (Request for Proposals)
Professional Design Services: The scope of Design Services shall consist of Analyzing the damage caused by the H-Piles driven throught the 72" interceptor sewer, determining the appropriate method of removal of H-Piles, Designing a repair method to repair the concrete pipe, to fill in the void areas that may be under, over, and/or around the pipe, and to provide a water tight seal. Designer shall also provide a safety lock-out plan for the 23rd Street Pump Station that adheres to all Federal Regulations concerning safety and COnfined Space Entry. All design aspect are subject to approval by the City and TDOT.
Construction Services: The scope of Construction Services shall consist of removal of additional debris inside the pipe from the access manhole to 20 ft. past the last H-Piling repaired, the removal and disposal of all sludge built up around the external part of the pope, removal of the H-Piles and repair of the pipe, void areas around the pipe, and a water tight seal inside the pipe. All work will require a Certified Contractor in Confined Space Entry
