Private Sanitary Sewer Service Line Repair (SLAP)
The work covered by this Contract consists of repair or replacement of private sanitary sewer laterals in the Avondale, Bushtown, Churchville, and East Chattanooga communities. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the following major elements of work: excavation, clearing and grubbing, installation of 4" PVC pipe, bedding, stone backfill in streets, driveways or other traffic areas, native material backfill in yards, easements or other non-traffic areas, topsoil, seed and straw, 8" concrete roadway or 6" driveway repair and 4" concrete sidewalk repair, and any other work that may be required to repair/replace the service line.
Any contract or contracts awarded under this advertisement for bids will be funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Contracts funded with Federal Funds for work on eight (8) or more units are subject to compliance with Davis-Bacon Requirements. This contract consists of work on seven (7) units, and is therefore not subject to Davis-Bacon Requirements.
