Ground Penetrating Radar & Falling Weight Deflectometer Testing (Request for Proposals)

Scope: The Responder will collect and provide electronic files for the following - (1) Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data and pavement layer thickness for 100% of the City's existing pavement network, anticipaed growth zone roadways, and special projects (i.e. all lanes). This information shall be used to divide the pavement network branches into sections and pavement management sample units based on pavement structure. Further division based on traffic volume may be conducted depending on data availability. (2) Network-level Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) test data (i.e. statistically-based selection and testing of PMS sample units per industry accepted protocols). This data shall be indexed to Tennessee's state plane coordinate system which is available from the City's GIS map.
