City of Chattanooga Tree Commission:
The Chattanooga Tree Commission is a seven-member board appointed by the mayor on staggered terms. The purpose of the Tree Commission is to educate the citizens, make recommendations to city officials, and to inform the elected leaders about the value and proper care of trees in Chattanooga.

The Tree Commission is creative and innovative in its approaches to greening Chattanooga. For more information on the Tree Commission, click here.

The Green Team of Leadership Chattanooga (class of 2007-08):
A group of eight Chattanoogans in the Leadership Chattanooga class of 2007-08, the Green Team is passionate about assisting with education about the Mayoral Climate Protection Act and increasing Chattanooga’s profile as a green city through research and publication of green efforts in Chattanooga.  We hope to engage large companies, small merchants and individual citizens in the commitment to enhance Chattanooga aesthetically through the planting and maintenance of trees in downtown Chattanooga.
