Residential Refuse Collection Centers:

The Refuse Collection Centers are a convenience for residents of Chattanooga to process household waste that is not easily processed through normal methods.

Locations:

1321 Airport Road
4500 North Access Road
1400 West 57th Street

Hours of Operation:

Summer Hours (May-October)

Mon.-Fri.: 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Winter Hours (November-April)

Mon.-Fri.: 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Guidelines:
1. Two pickup trucks allowed per day
2. No Landlords or Contractors allowed
Violators will be prosecuted for illegal dumping

4 Tires per day
2 Auto Gas Tanks (NO GAS)
Drywall-One Pickup Truck per Day
2 Fire Extinguishers
Lumber

Furniture
Mattresses & Box springs
Appliances TV's & VCR's
Microwaves Computers

Brush, leaves and grass clippings

* Hazardous Materials include such items such as: paint, paint thinner, Gasoline and Oil, Household Cleaning Products, Raw Sewage, Pesticides, Battery Acid, and Antifreeze. These items should be taken to the household waste facility located at 3925 North Hawthorne Street, open 2nd Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
