PlacementPlace brush separate from other items and at least 3-feet away from other stationary objects, on-street parking areas, drainage clean outs, and as near as practical to the roadway in front of the premises without blocking the roadway, sidewalk or drainage ditch.
ContractorsProper disposal of wood waste generated by a contractor or business is the responsibility of the property owner or contractor. Contractors cutting or trimming trees and shrubs shall remove the resulting debris from the property and provide for lawful disposal of the debris within ninety-six (96) hours. It is unlawful for any such person to place such debris for residential brush collection. Leaf CollectionLeaf Collection is a residential service only. Loose leaves may be placed at the curb and must be separated from brush, wood waste, and trash. Bagged leaves will be collected by calling 3-1-1 to schedule a pick up. Place bagged leaves separate from other materials at the curb for collection. If you choose to bag leaves please use bio-degradable bags. Leaves will be collected as crews move through the city from November through February. Brush may also be disposed of at the Wood Recycle Center located at 3925 N. Hawthorne Street.
