Delinquent Tax Exhibits

The Office of the City Attorney collects delinquent property taxes on behalf of the City of Chattanooga.  In March of each year, the City of Chattanooga files a lawsuit in the Hamilton County Chancery Court to initiate collection proceedings for taxes that are two years delinquent. When the City of Chattanooga files the lawsuit, it also files an exhibit that lists the properties with delinquent taxes. Please find below copies of the most recent exhibits that the City of Chattanooga has filed in relation to its delinquent tax lawsuits.

PLEASE NOTE: The tax amounts listed in the exhibits represent the base tax amount only. Interest, costs, and fees have accrued on these amounts since the taxes became delinquent.

Delinquent tax payments must be made to the Hamilton County Clerk & Master’s Office. You may contact their office at (423) 209-6606 for more information about how to pay the tax.
