2013 Total Request Budget Disclaimer

The City begins its budget process in January each year with the preparation of documents by the various departments and agencies demonstrating funding requests for the upcoming fiscal year. This document presents the initial requests for funding submitted to the Finance Department and City Council for Fiscal Year ending June 30. 2013. THESE REQUESTS ARE POSTED ON THE CITY'S WEBSITE PRIOR TO REVIEW BY THE MAYOR OR THE CITY COUNCIL AND DO NOT REPRESENT THE CITY'S PROPOSED NOR APPROVED OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE UPCOMING FISCAL YEAR. Upon careful review and consideration of these requests by the Mayor, Council and the Citizens of Chattanooga, a balanced budget will be adopted and posted to the City's website at a later date.
