07-02-17 Firefighters Stop Fire at McCallie School
The rest of the athletics building was full of smoke, so the firefighters set up high-powered fans to ventilate the structure. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Captain Smith said the dollar loss was estimated at $125,000. Thanks to the quick work of the firefighters, however, the rest of the athletics building -- valued at $30 million -- was saved.
