Station 13 - Brainerd

Station 13, located in the heart of the Brainerd community, has been in its present location on Brainerd Road since 1976. The fire station houses Ladder 13 and Squad 13. The district is comprised of both commercial and residential property and also includes the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. The station provides emergency service to a variety of businesses including office buildings, schools, churches, restaurants, nightclubs, and stores. Station 13's staff is specially trained in various areas including firefighting, emergency medical aid, Hazardous Materials response, and Urban Search and Rescue. Ladder 13 is a 105' combination pumper/aerial unit capable of providing fire suppression and aerial rescue. Squad 13 is a pumper/light duty rescue unit capable of providing fire suppression and extrication duties. Squad 13 also carries basic equipment for high angle rescue, confined space rescue, trench collapse rescue and structural collapse rescue.

Station 12 is located at:

Station 12 serves the North Chattanooga/Rivermont communities and provides secondary coverage for downtown Chattanooga, Lupton City and the Signal Mountain/Mountain Creek areas. It is a single-company fire hall that houses Engine 12 which is a 2020 Smeal with a 750 gallon water tank and 1500 gpm pump. The current station was built in 1997 and it is located in the same block as the old station that had been used since 1929.

Station 11 was constructed in 2016. It is a single-company fire hall that houses Engine 11. Engine 11 is a 2014 Rosenbauer pumper with 500 gallon water tank and 1500 gpm pump. Station 11 proudly serves the Hixson area.
Station 10
Station 10 is located at:

Station 10 is located off Amnicola Highway. It is a single company fire hall that houses Quint 10 and Fireboat 10 as the crews are also trained in fireboat operations. Quint 10 is 2016 Smeal with a 400 gallon water tank, 1500 gpm pump and a 75-foot aerial ladder. Station 10 is located next door to Fire Administration and serves a largely industrial response area. It borders Station 6 to the north, Station 4 to the east, Station 1 to the south and Station 16 to the west.
Station 9
Station 9 is located at:

Station 9 opened in June 2014, replacing the old Station 9 on 6th Avenue which was constructed in 1927. It is a single company, two-bay fire hall housing Engine 9. It serves the southern-central most part of Chattanooga. Its district borders the Georgia state line to the south and the City of East Ridge, TN to the east. To the north, Engine 5 and Ladder 5 border its district. To the west, it borders districts with Quint 14. Station 9 sits in the heart of East Lake, one of Chattanooga's older and historic areas of town. On its eastern most border sits Missionary Ridge. Residents of the neighborhood walk and ride bicycles a lot, often stopping by to say hello to the crews. The fire hall has very close ties to the community and firefighters appreciate the support they receive from the citizens in their district. Engine 9 has a 750-gallon tank and 1500 gpm pump.
