Station 8 was opened in 1974 and is home to Quint 8 and Tanker 8. The station is located in the East Brainerd area, which consists of churches, apartments, single-family homes, numerous businesses and Hamilton Place Shopping Mall. There are three primary highways served by Quint 8, which include Interstate 75, Interstate 24, and Highway 153. Tanker 8 and Quint 8 also serves the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. Quint 8 is a 2003 Rosenbauer with a 75 foot aerial, 300 gallon water tank and a 1500 gpm pump. Tanker 8 is a 2007 Freightliner.

Fire Station 7 was opened in September 2010 and serves Enterprise South, Tyner, Highway 58, and Ooltewah areas. Station 7 houses Ladder 7 (109 foot aerial), Squad 7 (technical rescue/pumper) and Battalion Chief 2, as well as USAR 1 and USAR 2, which are urban search and rescue support vehicles packed with equipment. Ladder 7 and Squad 7 respond to a variety of calls: residential fires, commercial fires, brush fires, vehicle fires, Hazmat incidents, vehicle accidents, and EMS calls. In addition, Squad 7 specializes in vehicle extrications and technical rescue calls (high angle rescue, trench collapse, building collapse, and confined space).

Station 6 was built in 1976. It is a single company fire hall that houses Quint 6 and Fireboat 6 as the crews are also trained in fireboat operations. Quint 6 is a 2010 Rosenbauer with 75 foot aerial, 300 gallon water tank and 1500 gpm pump. District 6 serves the Highway 58 and Bonny Oaks area. It borders District 4, District 15, District 8, District 7, District 10 and District 19.
Station 5
Station 5 is located at:

Chattanooga, TN 37404
Station 5 houses an engine company and a ladder company. Engine 5 has a 750-gallon water tank. Ladder 5 is a 105-foot aerial apparatus. The fire hall was built in 2019. Station 5 primarily serves the Highland Park community, but will also respond to other parts of the city when needed.

Station 4 is an energy efficient station built in 2009 serving the East Chattanooga and Avondale communities. It’s a single company, two-bay fire hall housing Engine 4. Engine 4 is a 2015 Smeal pumper. It has a 750 gallon water tank and 1500 gpm pump. Station 4 shares borders with Station 6 to the north, Station 15 to the east, Station 5 to the south and Station 10 to the west.
