Now your company can partner with the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) to enhance the security of your business while also helping to protect your neighbors. 

Dragonfly Community Connect is an innovative new initiative that allows you to link your company’s compatible, cloud-based security cameras with the CPD's Real-Time Intelligence Center for enhanced public safety.

How it works

Once your company installs a compatible security camera system, you can authorize the CPD to proactively access some or all of your cameras in responding to suspicious activity or crime in your area. 

Although the CPD does not monitor your cameras on an ongoing basis, participating in Dragonfly Community Connect gives us rapid access to your camera footage when it counts. That can help us take preventative measures in response to reports of suspicious activity. It can also provide us with the leads we need to rapidly solve any crimes that take place at your business locations and in the surrounding areas.

How to get involved – It’s easy

Step 1: Choose a compatible cloud-based security camera system. Currently, EPB Hosted Camera is the only certified turn-key security camera solution compatible with CPD's infrastructure. As other compatible camera system options become available, we will add them here. Please call EPB at (423) 648-1500 to learn more information. If, after speaking with EPB, your business is interested in participating in Dragonfly Community Connect, please complete the form in Step 2 below.

Step 3: The Chattanooga Police Department will send you a Memorandum of Understanding for you to review, sign, and return to us. A police officer can answer any questions you have and assist you in completing the agreement.
