11-25-17 Shooting - 4400 block Highway 58


On November 25, 2017 at 11:05 p.m. Chattanooga Police responded to the 4400 block of Highway 58 on a Shots Fired call. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

 

  • Upon arrival, Chattanooga Police Officers spoke with an off-duty Chattanooga State Officer who was working a security job in the area
  • Chattanooga State Officer stated to CPD Officers he observed a party shooting at an occupied vehicle on the lot
  • Chattanooga State Officer stated he fired at the suspect
  • An injured party arrived at a local hospital by personal vehicle with a gunshot wound
  • The party's injuries are considered non-life-threatening
  • The injured party advised police that multiple people in a passing vehicle shot at him while in the parking lot in the 4400 block of Hwy 58 and he returned fire
  • Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this incident
  • If you have any information about this incident please call the Chattanooga Police Department immediately. You can remain anonymous.
