11-25-17 Shooting - 4400 block Highway 58

On November 25, 2017 at 11:05 p.m. Chattanooga Police responded to the 4400 block of Highway 58 on a Shots Fired call. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

Upon arrival, Chattanooga Police Officers spoke with an off-duty Chattanooga State Officer who was working a security job in the area
Chattanooga State Officer stated to CPD Officers he observed a party shooting at an occupied vehicle on the lot
Chattanooga State Officer stated he fired at the suspect
An injured party arrived at a local hospital by personal vehicle with a gunshot wound
The party's injuries are considered non-life-threatening
The injured party advised police that multiple people in a passing vehicle shot at him while in the parking lot in the 4400 block of Hwy 58 and he returned fire
Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this incident
