12-17-17 Shooting - 1400 Cowart St.

On December 17th, 2017 at 2:47 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 1400 Cowart St on a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident.

• Upon arrival, Chattanooga Police found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot across from Coyote Jack’s nightclub
• Responding officers rendered aid until HCEMS arrived and transported both victims to a local hospital
• Investigators are looking into statements that a verbal argument had occurred between the suspect and victims inside the night club prior to the shooting
• The sequence of events which led to the shooting are currently being determined by investigators

Sharone Porter (Male, 22) (Deceased)

Victim #2:

Torrie Porter (Male, 24) (Non Life-Threatening)
