2-20-18 Arrest/Shooting - 1400 block Carousel Rd.

• Upon arrival police located both victims who had sustained injuries from gunshot wounds
• Victim #1 succumbed to his injuries before police arrival
• Victim #2 was transported to a local hospital via HCEMS. He was treated and has been released at this time.
• At this time it appears that the suspect and victims were in a verbal disorder which had escalated
• The investigation continued through the night and police were able to identify a suspect and vehicle description
• At approximately 12:30 a.m., Chattanooga Police observed the suspect vehicle at 1300 N Holtzclaw Ave and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect was placed into custody without incident.

Victim #1:

Jamichael Eddins (male, 24) (deceased)

Victim #2:

Randall Davenport (male, 28)

Suspect:

Christopher Turner

DOB: 4/20/1991
Charges: Criminal Homicide, Reckless Endangerment, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Assault X2

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
