UPDATE (7/6/18): 6-7-18 Shooting - 500 block Central Ave.

On June 7, 2018 at approx 12:36 a.m. the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 500 block of Central Ave on a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

• Police were able to locate the victim who suffering from a gun shot wound
• HCEMS transported the victim to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries
• A crime scene was established at this location and evidence was gathered
• Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this incident

Miguel Doriste (male, 38)

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
