6-16-18 Officer Involved Shooting - 400 block Tunnel Blvd.

• Upon arrival officers located a male suspect matching the description given by witnesses who said parties were involved in a disorder and a firearm was displayed.
• Officers engaged with the suspect, shots were fired, and the male suspect sustained a gunshot to the leg.
• The male suspect was transported by Hamilton County EMS with a non-life threatening injury.
• Per Chattanooga Police Department policy, two officers have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
• Hamilton County Sheriff Office will be handling the criminal investigation and all inquiries should be directed to their office.
