UPDATE (8/26/18):

On Saturday, August 26, 2018, the Chattanooga Police Department obtained warrants for two suspects involved in the shooting of Kevin Crayton and Jatoni Crayton that occurred on 8/24/2018 in the 1500 block of Bradt St.

• Montrell Williams was charged with Criminal Homicide, Attempted 1st Degree Murder, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
• Sherquilla Hubbard was charged with Criminal Homicide and Attempted 1st Degree Murder. Both Montrell Williams and Sherquilla Hubbard have been arrested and are in Police custody.

CHARGES: Criminal Homicide, Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony

SUSPECT(2): Sherquilla Hubbard (female, 24)

DOB: 07/02/1994

CHARGES: Criminal Homicide, Attempted 1st Degree Murder

On 08/24/2018 at approximately 6:31 p.m., Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Bradt Street on reports of a shooting.

• Upon arrival, Officers located one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and another male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.
• Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported the victims to a local hospital.
• The male victim shot in the chest, identified as Kevin Crayton, succumbed to his injuries.
• The male victim shot in the back, identified as Jatoni Crayton, suffered a non-life threatening injury.
• Investigators with the Violent Crimes Bureau and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene.
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident.
