9-14-18 CPD Annual Awards Recipients - 2018

Each year the CPD honors officers and civilians who've performed an exceptional act or served in an exceptional manner. The recipients represent examples of bravery, dedication and extraordinary work ethic.

"This is a night when we recognize single events that illustrate what the men and women of the Chattanooga Police Department do every single day of the year," said Chief David Roddy."What's not lost is the other 364 nights these men and women went home without their efforts being recognized, but that's still part of the job and they do it without question, without fear, without favor, without hesitation every single day for this community."

By honoring these dedicated men and women, CPD not only shows the respect deserved for a job well done, but also increases the standards and expectations of the department and the community it serves.
