Tech Workforce Program

Tech Workforce Program

Youth and Family Development is excited to provide The Tech Workforce Program (TWP) in partnership Tech Town. It's an opportunity for adults, primarily ages 17-50, to acquire the basic hands-on and experimental skills vital to the local workforce demands. This 7 week Learning Program aims to provide underemployed or unemployed adults with 21st- century technology/coding skills needed for better employment in the fast growing technology sector.

TWP FLYERAll classes are free for applicants who are selected, with a commitment of 9 hours per week. Classes tentatively will begin late February 2017. Classes will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 6pm-9pm at the South Chattanooga YFD and Brainerd YFD locations and Saturdays at Tech Town from 11am-2pm. Attendance for all classes is mandatory with childcare meals and transportation available.

Adults interested in learning to code can apply here.
