South Chickamauga Creek Greenway - Located between Shallowford Road and Camp Jordan Park, many Chattanoogans use the greenway path for leisure purposes. Walking the 2.5 mile trail which includes the Brainerd Levee is a popular pastime for Chattanooga residents of all ages.

Plans are underway for an expansion of the South Chickamauga Greenway that will eventually connect the exisiting trail to the Tennessee River. Mayor Ron Littlefield, Parks & Recreation Administrator Larry Zehnder, and Rick Wood with the Trust for Public Land participated in a ground breaking for this new trail link located off of Access Road.
