Office of Multicultural Affairs
Our Mission
The City of Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs was established in November 2005 by City Ordinance 11767, to cultivate an environment of understanding, respect and equality of rights for the diverse cultural populations of Chattanooga. It seeks to encourage understanding and goodwill, promote justice, and work toward eliminating discriminatory practices between and among the citizens of Chattanooga because of race, religion, national origin, age, sex, disability or ethnicity. OMA's Discrimination Hotline, (423) 757-4811 or 3-1-1, may be called for individuals who feel they are a victim of discrimination.
Our Vision
Is an environment that reflects equal treatment and participation of all segments of Chattanooga's diverse, culturally-rich communities in civic, economic, educational and social development ... making Chattanooga a premier city to live, work and play.
To inquire about filing a discrimination complaint, you may call the Discrimination Hotline at 423-757-4811 or dial 3-1-1.
