OUTDOOR POOL AND SPRAY PARK:
The City's outdoor pools at the Carver Center and Warner Park are open each summer from the start of May to "Back to School" to provide affordable refreshment during the hot weather months.
Our experienced full-time Aquatics Director has served the City for many years and has equipped her staff, as well as other first responders city-wide, with the most current methods and highest standards of training and water safety. Summer lifeguards return to work at these facilities summer after summer because of this program's forthright and conscientious management.
The Warner Park Pool has the new "Spray and Play" spray ground with water features that squirt, spray, splash, rain, and sprinkle for hours of cool recreation activity. For the summer, these pools will host Family Nights, Teen Nights, swimming lessons, water exercise classes in addition to hours of open swim time. These facilities, as well as the indoor pools, are available for private party rentals and special events all summer long.

INDOOR POOLS:
Indoor pools at both the Brainerd and South Chattanooga Centers are open year round and accommodate a variety of programs from swimming lessons for youth and adults, water fitness classes, swim team practices, and life-guard and first responder trainings. The Brainerd Center is located at 1010 N. Moore Road and the South Recreation Center is at 1151 W. 40th Street.
This full schedule of activities is coordinated by one full-time Aquatics Director and a dedicated group of part-time lifeguards, instructors, and support staff. Both of the indoor pools have locker rooms, showers, and climate controlled areas. In addition to classes the pools are open for family and open swim periods, adult lap swimming, and private party rentals.
Like all of the City's facilities admission is only a few dollars, no memberships are required, and everyone can expect quality programs presented by trained professionals in well maintained facilities. Both of these recreation centers (in addition to housing the pools and the swimming programs) serve the city in the areas of sports, fitness, after-school and youth programs, teen and senior activities, arts and enrichment, and community services.
