12-6-16 Shooting - 4000 block Rossville Blvd

Mid afternoon on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 Chattanooga police responded to a person shot which was reported in the area of 4000 Rossville Blvd. The following are the preliminary facts of that investigation:

• The victim (male, 21) is suffering from non-life-threatening injuries
• The victim was transported to a local hospital by a personally owned vehicle
• The victim advised that he was walking down a unknown alley when he heard the gunshot
• The is no suspect description
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are following all actionable leads
