12-19-17 Traffic Crash/Entrapment - 6500 Bonny Oaks Dr.

• A Peterbilt tractor trailer was traveling WB in heavy fog on Bonny Oaks Dr and was attempting to turn around in the entrance of the Air National Guard
• During the vehicle #1 turn sequence it was struck on Bonny Oaks by a Chrysler 200 traveling WB
• Vehicle #2 drove underneath the rear section of the trailer and made contact with the axles
• Vehicle #2 occupants were all entrapped and had to be extricated by Chattanooga Fire Departement
• All occupants in Vehicle #2 sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital by HCEMS except for one of the juvenile passengers who sustained serious life threatening injuries
• Members of the Chattanooga Police Traffic Division are actively investigating this crash and following all leads
