5-14-18 Arrest/Shooting - 700 block Davis Ave.

On 05/13/2018 at 12:56 hours Chattanooga Police responded to the 700 block of Davis Avenue on a person shot. Upon arrival Police made contact with the victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

• The victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
• CPD Violent Crimes Investigators determined the suspect and the victim were at a residence.
• The suspect produced a handgun and demanded the victim give him everything he had.
• While struggling to get the gun from the suspect, the victim was shot in the leg.
• Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
