GRN - Growing Resilient Neighborhoods

Untitled presentation

GRN (pronounced ‘Grown’) is a citizen tree-planting initiative developed by the City of Chattanooga Water Quality Program and Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center, aimed at growing a healthier, more dense forest canopy across the City of Chattanooga, with special attention given to the neighborhoods and communities impacted by the April 12, 2020 tornado event.

Are you a City of Chattanooga resident?

This program is open and available to all City of Chattanooga residents.

  • Properties that fall within the Tornado-Affected Zone will be eligible to receive four(4) trees to plant on-site.
  • Properties that fall outside this zone will be eligible to receive two(2) trees to plant on-site.

Please fill out the following tree request form, being sure to watch the 5 minute tree planting video linked in the form. Trees will be distributed to the property owner name provided on the form.
