Shortly after 5:00 this morning, Chattanooga firefighters rushed to a reported duplex fire at 703 E. 49th Street, in the Emma Wheeler Homes housing development.

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a fire at the city's new Wellness Center at 602 E. 11th Street early this morning, just after midnight. The Wellness Center is still under construction and is surrounded by a security fence.
07-18-2012 Chattanooga Fire Department Responds to Multiple Incidents
Chattanooga firefighters were very busy Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning after a severe thunderstorm passed through the area. It started off with reports of flooded streets and downed power lines. As the storm intensified, lightning strikes hit the area and may have started several fires.
07-13-2012 Fire Forces Evacuation of Hixson Townhomes
Chattanooga firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire at the Valleybrook Townhomes shortly before 9:00 this morning. The fire was located at 6403 Brookmead Circle, in which five townhomes were involved.
07-05-2012 Fire at 7014 Palermo Drive
Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 7014 Palermo Drive shortly after 2:00 p.m. yesterday. Captain Jeff Eldridge, the incident commander, said the residents in the home heard noises coming from the basement area.
